• The sale of the $20,000,000 Hoffman Village Shopping Center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois to a major pension fund.

• The disposition of a $12,000,000 land parcel in downtown Chicago for the First National Bank of Chicago.

• The leasing of approximately 116,000 square feet of office space to HealthCare Compare Corp., in Downers Grove, Illinois.

• The leasing of approximately 300,000 square feet of office space to the First National Bank in the One North State Street Building, in Chicago.

• The leasing of approximately 180,000 square feet of rental space in the Westport Commons Shopping Center at 87th and Kedzie in Chicago and the sale of a major interest in the Center to a large private real estate holding firm.
  
• The leasing of a 250,000 square foot distribution facility as agent for Philip Morris/Madden Services.

• Superheaded the site search and acquisitions, and the build to suit coordination of a 75,000 square foot headquarters facility for ITW Paslocle.

Venterra has acted as the agent for various Pritzker Family interests, Illinois Tool Works Inc., Fairfield Bank for Savings, First National Bank, and the American Dental Association in disposing of or acquiring properties for their interests.

Management and Marketing

Venterra provides seasoned professionals to manage residential, commercial and industrial developments through our property management division.

Venterra presently manages numerous homeowners associations consisting of townhomes, condominiums and loft homes and in addition manages the 180,000 square foot Westport Commons Shopping Center in Chicago. Management clients include buildings located in Dearborn Park, in the south Loop, townhomes in Lincoln Park and Lakeview areas, condominiums and townhomes in Park Ridge, and buildings located in other well established communities in the suburban Chicago area.
